Hello and welcome!
A little bit about me and my approach:
I live in Berkshire County, MA with my husband, and a small menagerie of pets. I chose to pursue mental health as a meaningful career path in 2012 after recovering from thyroid cancer. I have been working as a therapist since I graduated in 2015. I began work as an executive function consultant and body doubling coach in January of 2026.
I got my Master's in Social Work through Springfield College, and began working at a community mental health agency that I had been interning for that same year.
More recently, I added consulting and coaching services to provide hands-on support and help build practical, tangible life systems and routines tailored to how you function.
The Social Work program I attended utilizes an Advanced Generalist practice model, emphasizing a biopsychosocial perspective, as well as strengths-based approach, celebrating clients' individuality, resilience, and self-determination.
In other words, when I work with you I consider the big picture - the connection between biology, psychology, social and environmental factors, as well as large scale societal issues that may affect you (poverty, disability, social stigma, discrimination, etc...) and how these affect your daily life.
My goal is for you to be empowered, to recognize your own strengths and successes, to speak up for yourself, and to reach your personal goals for your life and happiness.
Some things you may learn in therapy include learning to reduce stress, recognize your own emotions, learn assertiveness skills, and manage symptoms.
In consulting/coaching you can expect to learn how to set goals and break them into manageable steps, identify what's not working, create structures that reduce lost items, missed appointments, and daily stress, and receive practical support to organize your life into something that works for you.
I am COVID-19 and public health conscious and happy to make accommodations for people with suppressed immune systems.
